New Gaming Laws -an overview

The Gaming Machines Act and Regulation came into force on 31st Jan 2009. Below is PDF download from the OLGR website.

Note:

NO FORFITURE if transfering PME's within the same Local Government Area (LGA) if transfering liquor license.

Local Impact Assesment: www.olgr.nsw.gov.au/gaming_lia.asp

NO LIA required when 1) transfering in your own LGA. 2) Transfering to Band 1 LGA not greater than 20 machines.

LIA 1 required: 1) Transfer to a band 1 with over 21 machines. 2) Transfer to band 2 LGA not greater than 20 machines.

LIA 2 required: 1) Transfer to bands 2 with over 21 machines. 2) Transfering to band 3 causing any increase in Gaming Machines Threshold.
